The public Complaint commission,Kano office says it has resolved over nine hundred cases tendered before the commission by different individuals and communities in the last twelve months.
The federal commissioner Alhaji Ado Ahmad Dadinkowa stated this while briefing journalist on the activities of the commission in Kano.
He said the commission established decades ago was saddled with the responsibility of settling disputes among individuals, farmers and harders ,disputes in government ministries and agencies among others.
Alhaji Ado Ahmad Dadinkowa maintained that in the year under review,948 cases were settled, which boarders around non payment of benefits for retirees, non payment of salaries and adjustment,and wrongful dismissal from service amog others.
He noted that despite the challenges faced by the commission it remains steadfast in protecting the Rights of the citizens.
The federal commissioner Further Explained that the commission had also provided motorcycles each in the five zonal offices across the state,geared towards extending the services to the grassroot.
He solicited the intervention of the federal lawmakers in amending the laws used in establishing the commission,saying the require amendment to meet up with the current reality.
