The federal government has reiterated its commitment in ensuring covid 19 protocols were strictly adhered to in all the reopened Nigerian airports for domestic flights with the aim of curtailing the spread of covid 19 pandemic.
The minister of Aviation Alhaji Hadi sirika state this when he lead federal government Delegation who visited Aminu Kano international Airport to inspect the preparedness of the Airport on resumption of domestic flights.
Alhaji Hadi Sirika said federal Government was working tirelessly in ensuring that all necessary mechanism were put in place in all the reopened Nigerians Airports with the aim of protecting lives and properties of passengers.
Sirika commended the level of preparedness so far at the Aminu Kano international Airport geared towards having safe operations of domestic flights in the country.
The minister maintained the mininstry would ensure that all Airports that were reopened In the country operates under strict adherance to covid 19 Protocols.
In a remark the National coordinator of presidential task force on covid 19 Dr sani Aliyu said the presidential task force was satisfied with the arrangements put In place at Aminu Kano international airport targeted at curtailing the spread of the virus during domestic flights operations.
In their separate comments Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya And senator Ibrahim shekarau commended the civil Aviation authority and federal airport Authority for a job welldone especially in ensuring that social distance and good hygein were well established and followed.
During the inspection visit,the minister and his Entourage inspected the new terminals completed by the administration of president Mohammad buhari.
