The Executive Council of National Association of Kaduna State Students has, on Sunday 22nd June, 2020, appointed Barr. Aysha Ahmad Muhammad as the Association’s Legal Adviser for a tenure of five years in the first instance.
This was disclosed in a statement Signed by the Acting National President of the association, Ishaq Shehu Tahir.
The appointment, which was approved by the Senate, is in view of her wealth of experience and versatility in the legal profession.
The appointee has established herself in the areas of advocacy and legal scholarship.
Born on the 29th April in the ancient city of Zaria, Aysha Ahmad, Esq. had her Primary education at the famous Therbow School Zaria then proceeded to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU).
At ABU, she bagged her LL.B and then proceeded to the Nigerian Law School Lagos and was successfully called to the Nigerian bar with flying colours in 2005.
She holds a masters degree in law from Salford University, UK.
She is the Principal Partner of Essence Chambers and the only full Hausa Fulani female in active legal practice in Zaria and the founder of Sarauniya Girl Child Care Foundation.
Sarauniya Girl Child is a foundation that caters for the less privileged across rural and urban parts of Nigeria.
And also empowering the less privileged through innovative programmes that address root causes of poverty.
She has positively touched lives in communities across Northern Nigeria to ensure preservation of life, improvement in the standard of living of the under privileged as well as the provision and support of sustainable livelihoods for girl child and or women made vulnerable by poverty.
