Niger State Government has on Tuesday announced the relaxation of lockdown in the state.

  • LOCKDOWN NOW TO COMMENCE FROM 10PM TO 4AM 
  • MARKETS, BANKS, OTHER BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, WORSHIP CENTRES TO OPEN FOR DAILY AND WEEKLY ACTIVITIES
  • COMPULSORY USE OF FACEMASK AND ADHERENCE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING AT PUBLIC PLACES MUST BE OBSERVED 
  • BAN ON INTER-STATE TRAVELS STILL IN PLACE EXCEPT FOR THE MOVEMENT OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE, MANUFACTURED GOODS, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS AND ESSENTIAL SERVICES
  • ALL INTERNAL SECURITY CHECKPOINTS SHOULD BE DISMANTLED
  • BAN ON COMMERCIAL MOTORCYCLE OPERATION STILL IN PLACE 
  • MOTOR PARKS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MUST ABIDE BY THE GUIDELINES OUTLINED BY MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION
  • MINISTRY OF EDUCATION DIRECTED TO LIAISE WITH EDUCATION STAKEHOLDERS ON THE RE-OPENING OF SCHOOLS
  • CIVIL SERVANTS TO OPERATE AT HOME EXCEPT THOSE ON ESSENTIAL SERVICES
  • POLICE AND OTHER SECURITY AGENCIES TO ARREST AND PROSECUTE VIOLATORS OF USE FACEMASK
