The Niger state police command has arrested eleven suspects over alleged involvement in criminal activities ranging from armed robbery cattle rustling and kidnapping this month.
Police Public Relations Officer ASP Wasiu Abiodun stated this while parading the suspects before Newsmen at Command headquarters Minna.
ASP Wasiu Abiodun explained that the command also recovered thirty six cattle four sheep and rescue three victims from bandits within the period under review.
The police image maker also said a team of policemen from Tafa division while on patrol on Daupe Daidai road intercepted and arrested one Nasiru Abdullahi of Gwagwa Abuja with locally made revolver riffle wrapped with sack.
According to him the command also arrested for robbery suspects at Suleja to include Chinonso Ofor Chukwu Gabriel Patric Nnaji and Franklin Madu and recovered one locally pistol.
ASP Wasiu Abiodun said suspects were alleged to have snatched five point five million naira from one Samuel Abiodun on his way to a commercial Bank in Suleja to make deposit.
He however reaffirmed the determination of Niger state police command to rid the state of all forms of criminal elements in their midst and called on Niger lites to supply them with useful security information to succeed.
