The Kano State Ministry of Health has on Monday mid-night announced that they have recorded 64 confirmed new cases of COVID-19 in the state.
The ministry announced this at about 11:45 p.m on 11th, May 2020 on its verified twitter handle.
According to the tweet, as at the time of the update, the total confirmed cases recorded in the state is now 666.
The ministry explained that 13 additional COVID-19 patients were discharged, making 63 so far.
The twitter update added that six more deaths were also confirmed, adding that so far 32 deaths was recorded.
Kano Daily reports that according to the ministry, they have 571 active cases at the moment.
