Jigawa state Government has received palliative items from the federal ministry of humanitarian affairs.

The Minister of Humanitarian affairs, who was represented by the jigawa state coordinator Operations and Coordinating Unit Mustapha Umar explained that the items consists of one thousand eight hundred bags of rice and five hundred cans of cooking oil.

Recieving the items on behalf of the state government, the Commissioner of health Dr Abba Zakar Umar commended the federal government for the gesture.

He assured that the items will be put into use judiciously.

Also speaking, the State Coordinator Special Investment Programme Mallam Bala Usman Chamo said the state also received one thousand five hundred bags of millet and five hundred carton of tomatoes paste from well to do individuals in the society.
