COVID-19: Kano to embark on house-house testing
Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State on Monday says the state government has concluded plans to embark on house-to-house Coronavirus testing aimed at preventing the spread of the disease.
Ganduje said this In a statement signed and issued to newsmen on Monday, saying that a renewed war against the deadly pandemic has just commenced.
According to the statement, Ganduje made the announcement when he received the multiple donations by high-profile sons of the soil, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Alhaji Abdulsamad Isiyaku-Rabi’u..
He also urged residents to strictly abide by all the preventive majors, especially the social distancing and the use of face masks.
Kwno Daily reports that Dangote had presented a COVID-19 mobile testing centre, 10 ambulances and six other vehicles to ease movements, while Isiyaku-Rabi’u donated the sum of N2 billion, five ambulances and 20 Hilux Vans to Kano state government
